I wouldn't have noticed that even if it was there last night. Everyone in my fireteam reported that they couldn't hear any in-game SFX except their own gunfire and Oracles for the entirety of the time we played together. Made for a strangely serene experience.

It doesnt seem to work when you trigger it in the Tower though.

Does it have any effect on Hive, do we know? Would be nice if it's more than just cosmetic.

I don't think it has any tangible effect, just for fun. Mine didn't work either when I tried it (only tried the once, and it was in the Tower), but my sister and brother in law report hearing spooky "haunted house sounds" while their pumpkins were active (roars, screams, etc.).

Is it because I have a flaming head? It didn't work for any of my fireteam who's done the Weekly Nightfall.
