I've been honestly skeptical of the RNG not having some very large weights applied to it, so I actually started recording the results of some activities and the rate of engram drops. I may not do anything with it, but if you do the same you can at least look and see if the distribution is somewhat even or if it looks skewed.

I must be doing something wrong. I almost always finish an activity with zero rewards. It doesn't matter which activity type it is. I did a strike playlist over the weekend - nothing. Also played some new story - nothing. Played the daily heroic today with my son - same result.

I will readily admit that I don't play for the rewards. However, the continual strikeouts have me befuddled, especially when it seems that recent patches were meant to encourage activities and discourage farming.

Did I miss something in the manual?
