Last night I found my new favorite thing to do on the moon: take a pike through an entire strike/mission. We need to get a fireteam of pikes and kill Phogoth.

I got ahold of a Pike on Venus Patrol the other day. I was doing three or four patrol missions every five minutes. That thing is amazingly unbalanced. Picked up an Assassination, and had the target dead by the time Kalamari showed up to the entrance.

If you get a Pike down to Phogoth, it will be a glorious fight... Assuming the knights don't blast you into the next dimension...

I was killed by a dropping Warsat once. I looked up, astounded by it's beauty, and then took it in the face.

A day later a public event is starting and I'm with 2 good friends in my fire team. I start to tell them how yesterday I was killed by a Warsat. Mid-story a warsat drops on my head, killing me mere yards away from my unharmed fire team. They couldn't stop laughing.

Laird mentioned this to me when I told him about barely missing an event on the moon. Were you in different areas? I've noticed on the public events timer site that sometimes the timers overlap.

I was killed by a warsat drop while checking out this thing called the loot cave. I was standing back, seeing what all these people were doing & bam! A satellite dropped out of the sky on my head. It hurt, a lot.
