I've already maxed out my Warlock; it really doesn't take long. Pro-tip, do Bounties. Bounties level up classes the fastest, so you don't have to spend too long with a class that you dislike. Unfortunate happenstance has pretty much forced me to make a Titan as my second character *shudder*, so I'm just gonna run those, Strikes, and Patrol as often as possible.

Although Bungie.net says I've done a day and 11 hours (it's insane, I know, but I think I've actually done more than that and that maybe they just aren't tracking idle or Tower time), I have done a ton of bounties daily and have done a ton of Crucible and story missions, and I'm still only a level 23 without my full Titan tree unlocked yet. And I've been playing nearly non-stop since Tuesday. I'm not going to put that time into a Warlock or a Hunter, especially when I don't enjoy them.

Pretty much. I finally took a look at the achievements list, and some of the achievements are to go through the full tree list with each class. I guess this will be my first Bungie game where I don't get all the achievements, because there's no way in hell I'm grinding out on classes I don't like or don't care about to get those. Disappointing.

I have already figured out that rank isn't shared, and that's fine. I want to know if crucible marks are shared like glimmer. Will either of these methods will work to get faction armor for my hunter:

1. Earn faction rank with my hunter in strikes and use crucible marks earned by my titan to buy the armor.

Nope. Vanguard Points, Rank, and Marks are not shared. Faction progress is not shared.

2. Earn faction rank and crucible marks with the titan in PvP, buy the hunter armor, and trade it over via the vault.

Nope. Crucible Points, Rank, and Marks are not shared. Start from scratch with each character.

Can you buy armor for other classes from the faction vendors?

Faction Vendors only offer you high-tier armors for your own class, but you CAN buy low-tier armor from the Vanguards to put into your Vault... But considering that your classes all share Glimmer (with a Glimmer cap of 25,000), that's just giving yourself more work for no reason...

Don't ask me why. None of that makes sense to me either. Massive screw-up, Bungie, preorder cancelled.

Funny side-note: The only two Legendary armor pieces that I've gotten as random drops look AWESOME... But they're for the Titan class that I have long spit down upon... Such is karma...
