Physical to digital upgrade does not exist for either platform.

The only thing that you get a "free upgrade" for on your ghost edition is the Expansion pass. You obviously can't take advantage of the expansion pass on your PS4 though until you buy a physical or digital Destiny base game

So, I was told that I should be able to get a digital PS4 version of Destiny at a nominal upgrade fee.

I have a PS3 copy because I wanted an LE and didn't know when I would get a PS4. Low and behold I got permission for a PS4 acquisition, but now I want to play Destiny on it, but was hoping I wouldn't need to buy a whole new copy, and I had been told it should be an option. Does anyone know if I have been had, or does physical-to-digital upgrade work?
