The goat sounds reminded me of some AoE2:HD games, which I normally play with the HW soundtrack running as well.

Nah, it was the skybox. This was made with the Halo texture pack.

I'm pretty sure it was keeping the Traveler hanging there. Which makes no sense, since you don't need a physical connection to the ground to have a floating thing...

The proportions are a bit off, but it is damn impressive.

Yeah, I think the hallway to the Vanguard area should have been about twice as long... Also, why was there a Halo curve on the horizon? Is that normal for Minecraft?
