Just so I'm clear, there's no digital download for 360 right now, but there possibly will be one on Tuesday? I was planning on just swinging by the store to buy it, but I would rather get it digital if I can upgrade for free.

If it holds up to past big releases I would be on yes. Really you have nothing to lose though. Turn on your 360 on Tuesday, see if it's available, if not run to the store.

MS is shitty about day one digital on 360 most of the time. It happens sometimes for big games, but there's been like a week of lag time on average. I would think Destiny will warrant it though, especially since they seem upset about all the PS advertising, anything to help sales.

Yeah it's true, but they've usually been pretty good with the really big releases. GTA V was available day one as well as COD: Ghosts. I would honestly be really really surprised if they didn't have it available day one.

Is there a digital version for the 360? I was thinking of canceling my Amazon order of the disc, which is why I was asking.

I would imagine there will be. Most games have had a digital version for the last two years or so. I can't guarantee it though of course.
