You do see how that can be seen as obnoxious, right?

Perhaps, if you are made out of sugar and it's raining.

I hope it works out well for the people that use it. I won't, because Bungie's forums have historically been a mess and now they're messier, albeit in a different way. I don't get the tag system and I don't want to commit any brain space to it, let alone any problems it brings up.

If it's useful and you like Destiny, you'll use it. Otherwise, I find no fault in you not using B.net.

I don't understand either of the things you just said there.

I'm hoping for the former because I do not want another website to check into everyday because some la-de-da Overlordy-pants likes to control people.

You, sir, have been a part of the wrong clans. :)

I was in a great Clan with great people many of whom I am still XBL friends with but not all people in Clans are good. For awhile, I was part and parcel of the best and worst a Clan could be. Then I began to see just how insidious clannish behavior could become. I won't go into the dark details.

So no, I won't join a clan as I was in before.

I am in our 2old2play Clan for Destiny. If all it ends up being is a social club on B.net, then I'm out. If it brings benefits to Destiny that helps me play with friends without limiting other social interaction then I'm staying in.

I already know our Destiny clan, will at worst be useless, because I know the people in charge. I'm sure they'll drop the clan too if it serves no good game purpose.
