Firstly, I forgot to mention before as in the video that the image I posted above came from, as it zooms in to show what's in the image, you can see the word "director" in the bottom middle, at first.
Secondly, I looked at this and the Alpha Lupi transmission received image and the left side of the area shown here, near the round shape that I think is part of a compass rose (or whatever it's called), matches what I presume is the coast of Puerto Princesa as shown in the Alpha Lupi image, also near a compass rose.
This image shows the area I'm talking about. I overlaid the new (partial?) map on the Alpha Lupi image (and cropped it). I can't figure out how to get the images to show up better and I don't know if I scaled the new one right, but you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

The inlet in the center-left is what tipped me off.

I'd be shocked at this point if the Crucible did not turn out to be the area in the City where PvP matches occur.

I may be the only person that cares about this, but here are my thoughts on how Destiny's UI is coming together:

I'm not sure where exactly this fits in the UI, but I'm guessing character select will be next:

Then I expect we'll reach the Director:

Selecting a location on the Director will give us options for that location. This image is from the Pathways out of Darkness ViDoc, so I imagine the menu options here have changed, but I believe the concept has remained: letting us form a party and select an activity specific to that location:

Nice to see that we've kinda been staring Destiny in the face all this time. I love it when Bungie does that. And that Alpha Lupi image in particular has been ripe for it with all the other things it is also connected to.,. Music of the Spheres... The story of our solar system and the Traveler... and who knows what else.

Destiny's Director / Locations

I believe the Director (the interactive activity map) is what is briefly shown during the opening of the Strike Gameplay trailer. It has visual similarities to the ARG image:

The text from the ARG image does not match the locations in the Director, though.

But this would give us 7 playable locations in Destiny:

Venus
Reef ?
Mars
Moon
Earth
Crucible ?
Tower

I'm wondering if the Crucible refers to competitive multiplayer. The reef may then refer to Saturn's ship graveyard?
