I will probably enter them at some point. I figure they might be something pretty peripheral, so I'm not too worried about them. And I would assume you could just always delete them/remove them from your console.

I agree. Every code so far is tied to a weapon or a character class, which makes me think they're probably for cosmetic items - skins for those weapons/characters, or something similar.

It's a lot of fun finding these Destiny codes, but I've been holding back from entering them. A small part of it is I don't know what I'll actually be getting, but a bigger part of it is I think I might kinda want to start fresh, with a clean slate. Whenever I come back to a game I usually delete all my old saves and start over so I can experience everything again. I kinda worry that I'll be handed things for reading a pinned forum post rather than for my daring and skill in Destiny itself. I'm almost certainly worrying too much, but I've only entered a couple codes so far.

I figure it'll be stuff that's purely cosmetic. I'd be surprised if they gave us some kind of armor or weapon that easily.
