I think Uncharted is a decent choice for an adaption. They just need to make a decent action movie.

I have two points that I think determine whether an adaptation will be successful:

1. You can craft a story that will work on the screen
2. The move to the screen can gain something

I don't think #2 is the case with an Uncharted movie. It would lose something actually.

Even with great talent I don't think Hollywood can break the curse of the video game movie.

I can't stress enough that just because a franchise is popular doesn't mean it's a good choice for adaptation.

Also am I correctly interpreting the notes about damage display… is the game now displaying a damage number that doesn't match the actual damage number?
