I was getting wrecked by that gun last night in PvP. That being said, that doesn't mean it's a good gun ^.^

I did okay with it, but I was honestly mostly just trying out my new striker titan moves, which didn't jive with the handcannon so well. Seems solid though, I'm going to compare it to my Uffern and last word tonight.

It hadn't occurred to me that you meant it still 2-shots if you get two lucky shots. I got so excited for a second, thinking you meant 1 lucky and 1 normal. Now I'm back to being sad again.

As far as I can tell:

With Aggressive Ballistics, you can two shot someone if their armor is low enough and both shots are headshots and at least one bullet is lucky, and you are close enough where there is no damage falloff. Before, it was pretty much you can two shot anybody from any range.

The change from 1.3x to 1.2x is to allow high armor targets to survive a one lucky bullet two shot.

Just came back from the Child's Play Charity Dinner - Bungie donated a Hawkmoon 3D-printed and painted by a Bungie artist (it was beautiful). Sold for $4200.

I hadn't realised that? What was the point of the 40% LitC nerf? To stop you from 3-shotting on the body maybe?

It makes it so that if you have high enough armor you can survive a 2 shot where one is a lucky bullet.

It was definitely a joke, because of all the people yelling Nerf Exotic Hand cannons many moons ago.

Okay phew... I was close to tying you up and burning you at the stake. Now they just need to buff all of the non Suros exotic AR's. That would make me happy.

Well it can still 2 shot kill…

But yeah. Looks like of all the exotic hand cannons, the last word has come out on top.

Only at point-blank range, and assuming you land both headshots. Every other time it's a three-shot kill, same as TDYK.

What about Ace of Spades? I thought that got tweaked, not nerfed...

I think you can only 2 shot now with aggressive ballistics… which is even MORE of a bummer. The lucky bullet went from 1.3x to 1.2x according to the notes I think.

Yea thats the general consensus. The RoF tagged with the low magazine, along with mediocre stats and an exotic perk that relies on precision shots, the cards are stacked against it. hopefully with the buffs, and the ADS buff mostly, it may be a more viable option. BUFF EXOTIC HAND CANNONS!

I don't think we have ever needed to really buff hand cannons... This is the first time an exotic hand cannon has sucked, every other one has been so over powered that they have been nerfed left and right.

In PvP it's just not going to be as good as mid-rof hand cannons. It was still a 3 shot kill. Better range, but if you want range why not go for a pulse or scout?

Surely it couldn't be worse than before after the buff......

Plus I put alot of effort into getting it.

On paper, the First Curse looks much better now... which isn't saying much. It was horrible to begin with. So we'll have to see if the tweaks bring it all the way up into "great weapon" territory, or if it is still limping around in "mediocre-ville".
